Only a few days ago, the Indian government launched a vaccination drive for all senior citizens to take their booster dose in the fight against Covid-19.

Veteran actor Dharmendra, on Wednesday, revealed that he has received his COVID19 booster shot, an additional dose of a vaccine given after the original shot.

Taking to his handle, the 86-year-old actor shared a video of himself getting the booster dose, saying "Booster le raha hun, booster. Dard bhi nahi hua kuchh."

Dharam Paji wrote, "Friends, humble request please take the booster dose."

Dharmendra also encouraged his fans to get vaccinated by sharing the video. A booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can help people get more protection after their first two doses of the vaccine. People over 60 years old with comorbidities, as well as health and frontline workers, are currently eligible to receive the vaccine. The campaign begins as the entire world battled a spike of COVID-19 cases fueledl by the Omicron variant.
