The 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) came to a brilliant conclusion on November 28 at Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Auditorium in Goa, with a slew of film screenings and a glamorous closing ceremony. Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor received an award for his excellent contribution to Indian cinema, while actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene was recognised for her outstanding achievements in Bollywood films.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee was also recognised for his outstanding performances on stage, screen, and on OTT platforms. Madhuri praised the contributions of the many women whose work has been featured at IFFI in previous years, both in front of and behind the camera. The Japanese film Ringu Wandering earned the Golden Peacock Award at the festival, among other honours.
