Anek, a sociopolitical thriller starring Ayushmann Khurrana, has been postponed and will now be released on May 13 instead of March 31. In a recent Instagram post, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed the film's new release date. He posted a poster for his upcoming film on Instagram with the statement, "It takes just ONE to make a difference. Time to unite as Ek! Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan! #Anek IN CINEMAS 13.05.2022."

However, this is the second time the film's release has been postponed. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the film's release date was pushed back to March 31 from September 17 last year. Anek is Vicky Donor's second collaboration with Anubhav Sinha, the director of Article 15.

In the socio-political thriller set in India's northeast, Ayushmann Khurrana plays Joshua. Under the banners of Benaras Media Works and T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha have co-financed the film.

Anek, on the other hand, isn't the first Bollywood film to be delayed. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan, will now be released on May 20 instead of March 25. This is because the historical RRR, starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan, is set to release on March 25.

Tabu, Kiara Advani, and Amar Upadhyay play important parts in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Bhushan Kumar also produces Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is a sequel to the 2007 successful film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, and Vidya Balan.
