'Sooryavanshi,' directed by Rohit Shetty and featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the titular roles, was released in theatres across the country on Friday (November 5).
Due to COVID-19, the film's premiere has been postponed till 2020, and fans were eagerly anticipating the masala action, cop-drama to finally hit theatres.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty had postponed the cinema debut of his ambitious feature 'Sooryavanshi' due to the mounting COVID-19 instances this year. However, moviegoers may finally see the smash on the big screen!
DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the Anti-Terrorism Squad chief, is played by Akshay Kumar, and the film depicts him striving to avert a terrorist assault in Mumbai. Inspector Sangram Bhalerao, played by Ranveer Singh, and DCP Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgn, join him on this expedition as well.
While some fans praised the film for its spectacular action and top-notch entertainment, others were dissatisfied with it, claiming it lacked a storyline.
