Decision
taken in view of four positive cases in Bharuch district

Eight villages
in Karjan are declared core area and sealed by Vadodara district magistrate
after four positive cases comes to light from Ikhar village in Bharuch. The
decision is taken as a preventive measure to spread the infection as the
borders of the villages are touching Bharuch. A notification is released under
Disaster Management Act.

The details
are that the District Magistrate of Bharuch has declared the entire residential
and revenue area of the Ikhar Gram Panchayat a Containment Area and declared
some villages of Aamod and Bharuch talukas as core area. This action has been
taken in connection with the positive cases of Coronavirus.

The eight
villages of Karjan taluka under Vadodara district consists of Valan, Sansrod,
Mankan, Mesraad, Dhamnaj, Mangrol, Dethan and Sampa located within a radius of
seven km radius have been identified as Core area denied any movement in there.
The decision is taken in the interest of people and a

notification
is released under Disaster Management Act by the district magistrate.

The order
will be our fever will be observed with immediate effect till 23rd April with
one way will be open to maintain the supply of essential services in these
villages.

People from
these villages will be able to purchase essential items from 8am to 11am in the
morning. During the notification one person on a two wheeler vehicle and not
more than two persons on a three / four wheel can travel. Exceptions will be
made to the police, health services including those required and those who have
been given an authorized pass.

Violations of the provisions of this
