Telangana schools closed for Sankranti
All government schools in Telangana will remain closed from January 12 to 17, 2023
Schools in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana will remain closed for six days in January as part of the Sankranti holidays. According to the academic calendar issued by the Telangana School Education director, the vacations for Sankranti will be applicable to all educational institutions in the state except the missionary schools.
All government schools in Telangana will remain closed from January 12 to 17, 2023. As per the academic calendar released the formative assessment exams will be conducted after the schools reopen.
Along with Sankranti holidays, schools will also be closed on January 25, 2024, as an optional holiday for Hazrath Ali's birthday and on January 26, 2024, on the occasion of Republic Day.
Schools will remain closed on January 26, 2023, in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana, however, the morning session will include the flag-hoisting ceremony.
