Podar World School Maneja Vadodara celebrate World Soil Day with various activities

Podar World School, Maneja kick started the week by holding activities signifying importance of soil on World Soil Day on 6th December 2021 (Monday).

Primary Sections conducted Edible Soil Activity where various snacks, gems, Biscuits, bournvita were used as layers of soil. Students performed the activity of arranging Soil in Beakers, soil painting booths.

The higher Standard conducted a very well planned Assembly explaining the layers of soil and types of Soils alongwith its uses and regions where each type of soil is found. The students elaborated on soil nutrients with the help of colourful charts and placards. An interactive live Quiz made the students participate enthusiastically. The activity culminated with the Indian Mitti Theme Songs like Mere Desh ki Dharti, Teri Mitti mein mil jaavan to name a few.

Class students also made posters, planted trees and took a pledge to take care of Mother Earth.
