The Prime Minister of New Zealand today announced the launch of July 2025 session of the New Zealand Excellence Awards. The New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) is a scholarship scheme exclusively for Indian students.

The New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) are designed to support Indian students pursuing higher education in New Zealand. To be eligible, applicants must:
Age: Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
Citizenship: Hold current citizenship of India and not be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia.
Residency: Reside in India at the time of application.
Admission: Hold an unconditional offer of a place at a New Zealand university for an eligible course.
