National Testing Agency, NTA is all set to conduct the National Eligibility Cum Eligibility Test, NEET Exam 2023 for admission to undergraduate medical education today, May 7, 2023. This year, close to 22 lakh students are appearing for the exam.

As per the NEET schedule, the exam will be held for a duration of three hours and 20 minutes from 2 PM to 5.20 PM. Candidates who are appearing for the medical entrance exam today must report to their respective centres at least one hour prior.

The test pattern of NEET UG comprises of four subjects - physics, chemistry, mathematics and botany. Each of the subjects will have two sections - Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions out of which only 10 questions have to be attempted. Overall, the paper will be for a total of 720 marks each. For each correct answer, +4 will be given, for every incorrect answer -1 and zero marks for unattempted questions.

NEET UG is a pen and paper-based test held in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu

Students are advised to carry their admit card without fail otherwise you will be denied entry to the exam centre. Carry your city slip and a valid photo ID without fail. No electronic devices are allowed inside.
