In a sensitive decision Maharaja Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara decides to give free education to 16 students till the completion of their degree. The students lost their parents in Covid, takes the benefit of scheme start by the university to help them complete their education without any financial Crunch. MSU is first such university in Gujarat to start the initiative.

A resolution was unanimously passed by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara in the Syndicate meeting held in the month of October, states that the University would pay the full cost of any student whose mother or father had died due to corona. A total of 16 students are identified as valid and university will give free education to them.

"The scheme is started with an aim to help the students who lost their parents (mother or father) in Covid. The university will give free education to them till they complete their degrees. Total 18 students applied to avail the scheme and after verification 16 stands valid and will get free education. Their estimated fees is around 5,95000 rupees. We request such students to approach through proper channel and avail the scheme," said K.M. Chudasama Registrar MSU Baroda.
