Most of the states in North India are in the grip of heatwave.
From children to adults, everyone is suffering due to excessive heat.
But the weather in Jharkhand has taken a turn. Schools have been opened in Jharkhand as soon as the weather has improved.
The School Education and Literacy Department, Ranchi, has issued orders to open all categories of schools starting Monday, May 13.
This order has been issued by the joint education secretary of the state, Nandkishore Lal.
According to reports, due to the scorching heat, classes from KG to 8th were postponed in Jharkhand, and the timings for students from 9th to 12th were changed from 7 to 11:30 in the morning.
Now that the weather has improved, school time has become normal. Most of the schools in Ranchi will remain closed today, May 13, 2024. Summer vacations have started in many schools, and buses from many schools are engaged in election duty.
This order has been issued for all government, private, and government-aided schools in Jharkhand.
The students are advised to contact their school to confirm timings and holiday status.
It is being said that summer vacations have started in some schools.
So, it is possible that this government order may not be applicable to those schools.
Wherever the buses are engaged in election duty, those schools should themselves inform the children or parents of their status.
As per reports, while states like Delhi, NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan are in the grip of heatwaves, the weather in Jharkhand is getting better. According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, there is a possibility of rain in the entire state of Jharkhand, including the capital (Ranchi), until May 15.
