In the past, CBSE has given exemption to offer Mathematics (041 ) in class 11 / 12 to the students who offered Mathematics (Basic) in class 10 because of Covid pandemic. Now, the board has proposed a few changes.

The relaxation in this rule will continue for the academic session 2024 -25 only. This means that the students who offered Mathematics Basic (241) are also allowed to offer Mathematics (041) in class 11.

The Board also instructed the schools that before permitting Mathematics (041) in class 11 to such students, the head of the school should satisfy that the students are having the aptitude and ability to pursue Mathematics (041) in class 11.

Meanwhile, students are waiting for class 10 and 12 results for the exams conducted in 2023.

Class 10 and 12 results will likely be announced after May 20, as per a message posted on the official website — cbseresults.nic.in.

However, there is no official confirmation of the result declaration date and time on the official — cbse.gov.in.
