Doctors at Dabhoi government hospital skillfully performed surgery to save the life of a woman
Removed 30 cm long tumor of ovary weighs 10 to 13 kg
Dr. Ajay Singh and his associates have done a noble job of saving the life of a sick woman from a needy family. They performed a complex surgery on her at Dabhoi's Government Hospital also called as Community Health Center to remove a ovary tumor.
The 55-year-old woman with a tumor in her ovaries weighed barely 35 to 40 kilograms. While the team of the government hospital gave her new life by performing an exploratory laparotomy in case of emergency and removing a tumor weighing 10 to 12 kg and 30 cm in length from the body.
The tumor grew and spread to the thoracic region, and for the last two days the tumor had been clinging to the bowel and she began vomiting. A immediate surgery is needed or else her life was in danger.
Regardless of this, Dr. Ajay Singh and his dedicated colleagues including Dr. Aarti, Dr. Pooja, Resident Dr. Deep Patel, Sister Urmila Varia and Sevak Ramjibhai Vasava performed the immediate surgery. In which the service-minded doctor Dr. Vijay Seth did an important service of sniffing the bottle.
The woman's relatives brought her about a month ago but due to the peak of Corona the risk they were corresponded to wait. But now it was not possible to wait any longer so immediate surgery was carried out by the doctors.
