    The district LCB team caught Indian made foreign liquor being transported in a tempo from near Bharthana Toll Naka in Karjan taluka. 

    Karjan police station head constable Masulbhai Dalabhai, Bhupatbhai Virambhai, head constable Vipulkumar Sivasankar Bhai and other members of the Karjan police staff were checking vehicles at Bharthana Toll naka in the Karjan police station area. During checking they received a report from an informer about a maroon colour tempo from Mumbai side and laden with liquor was heading towards Vadodara via Bharuch and Karjan.

    Based on that the team kept a watch at the Bharthana toll naka and intercept the Eicher tempo GJ 05 AZ 2035 for checking. The team found 228 boxes of liquor from the tempo and caught two under prohibition.
