Chief Electoral Officer of the state organized video conference in view of Karjan by election

The Chief Electoral Officer of the state, Dr. S. Murali Krishna held a video conference with the district election officials of the respective constituencies on Tuesday. Vadodara District Election Officer and Collector Shalini Agarwal briefed him in detail about the pre-preparations for the Karjan seat on the basis of 10 points of election readiness.

These include law and order, precautionary measures, coordination with the police in this regard, expenditure registration and regulation arrangements, the ongoing registration process, postal voting operations for Absentee Water and the current situation, polling team and postal ballot. These included training of sector officers, pre-arrangements for counting of votes, steps taken for implementation of the Code of Conduct and work done for smooth management of web casting.

District Police Chief Sudhir Desai, Deputy District Election Officer RP Joshi and concerned officers were present in the conference. Election Officer of the seat and Province Officer K. R. Patel joined online from Karjan.
