District Collector visited Shinor and reviewed the health situation regarding Covid 19

Also visited Saadhli after two positive cases from the area

District Collector Shalini Agarwal visited Shinor on Monday and inspected the town along with district police chief Sudhir Desai. She also conveyed the message to people about following the guidelines to stay safe against Coronavirus.

She also held a meeting with the Provincial Officer, Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer, Taluka Health Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police of the area and reviewed various issues besides Covid and health.

She reviewed the precautionary measures taken after five Corona positive cases comes to light in the area. She also give important guidance after review the health situation, farmers, milk societies and APMC matters, water supply situation, free distribution of food under various schemes by the supply department, repatriation of migrant workers and others.

During the visit provincial officer Maitridevi and officials from the taluka administration provided various information to the collector.

District Collector also visited Saadhli in Shinor taluka and interacted with people in the containment area. She was accompanied by District Superintendent of Police.

District Collector Shalini Agarwal visited Saadhli village in Shinor taluka on Monday along with District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Desai. The area is declared as containment zone after the two Corona positive recently and restrictions have been enforced as per the guideline.

She visited the zone and interacted with people and urged them to follow all precautions including wearing masks and maintain social distancing to avoid infection.  She also informed about the ongoing distribution of Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic medicines which enhance immunity and instructed them to consume it properly.

The two positive cases reported in Saadhli are kept under treatment at Ibrahim Bawa’s ITI in Vadodara and nine of their close contacts have been kept under observation at the Babaria Quarantine Center.

During the visit, the collector was accompanied by the provincial officer, taluka health officer and officials of the taluka administration.
