District Collector visited Savli and reviewed Covid related health situation

Inspected Lalpari Containment Area, conveyed the message of strict adherence of lock down

Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal visited Savli and organized a flag march in the town area to convey the message of strict adherence of lock down to protect themselves against Corona. Ketan Inamdar, MLA of Savli, joined the discussion of the meeting and made useful suggestions. District Collector along with MLA inspected the work of deepening the lake under Sujalam Sufalam Jal Sanchay Yojana in Anjesar village and inaugurated new work in the other part.

District Collector also held a meeting with the Provincial Officer, Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer, Taluka Health Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police of the area and reviewed various issues related to Covid, health and others.

He strictly reviewed the precautionary measures taken in connection with the positive case of Corona reported in Savli which includes health situation, farmers, milk societies and APMC matters, water supply situation, free food distribution under various schemes by the supply department, integrated action for repatriation of other states workers. She also gave necessary instructions and guidance to the concerned departments.

The District Collector give important instructions about taking care of the availability of milk, vegetables and other necessities of life in the containment zone, distribute Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic medicines from door to door and to conduct door-to-door health check-ups in the entire town and taluka.

She sought information from the citizens during a visit to the Lalpari Containment Area of ​​the town and getting details from the people before asked them to strictly follow the lockdown rules. She also attend the meeting related to health facilities at Covid Care Center set up at KJIT.

It is to be mentioned that intensive precautionary measures have been taken under the guidance of the Collector after the case of Corona positive in Savli.
