Give instructions to take special care including pregnant women and vaccination of children
Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal on
Wednesday reviewed the health situation in the rural areas with all the Taluka
Development Officers, Taluka Health Officers and Medical Officers of the Taluka
Health Centers through video conferencing. She stressed and put special
emphasis on pre-preparation and smooth implementation of the plan to set up a
Corona health center at Taluka level.
The District Collector instructed to ensure adequate care
especially for pregnant women and safe delivery, timely Mamata Day and child
vaccinations, medicines to patients suffering from diseases like TB and
leukemia and integrated implementation of all aspects of Corona management.
Se instructed to be prepared for implementation of the new
health guidelines related to room quarantine of positive patients who do not
have symptoms. She also asked for intensive investigation and monitoring of
Corona positive cases.
She also reviewed the availability and distribution of
hydroxychloroquine. Presently there are no positive cases in rural area of
Vadodara district, she give instructions to do house to house strict check
ups and take all necessary steps to maintain this condition.
