LA Job Fair was conducted by Directorate General (Resettlement), Ministry of Defence (MoD) at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad under the aegis of ‘Golden Katar Division’. The aim of this event was to provide job opportunities to the Ex-servicemen (ESM) and to showcase the skilled manpower available with Armed Forces to various companies participating in the Job Fair.
Minister of State for Defence Shripad Yesso Naik was the Cheif Guest for the function, which was also attended by many senior and distinguished officers.
This Job Fair facilitated direct and instant interaction between eligible ESM and corporates on a comman platform and provided resettlement guidance and counselling to the veterans.
The event fast tracked the career opportunities for the ESM at leading Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) and corporates, and also gave an insight to the PSEs and the corporates about the highly trained and strong disciplined work force available. Such events are undertaken as part of welfare measures for the veterans who also contribute towards nation building.
