Tragic Road Mishap Near Karjan: Ertiga Slams Truck, Fire Team Uses Cutters to Recover Body
A fatal road accident occurred early morning on April 10 on National Highway 48 near Haldarva village in Vadodara’s Karjan area. An Ertiga car traveling from Surat to Bharuch crashed into a stationary truck.
Out of the four occupants in the car, one person died on the spot, while three others, including the driver and two women, were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Emergency teams, including the Karjan Fire Department and police, reached the scene promptly.
The deceased, Akash Anilbhai Solanki, was trapped inside the mangled vehicle and had to be extricated using hydraulic cutting equipment after intense efforts. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
