Crocodile attack farm labourer near Dev river passing from Navinagri in Waghodia

The crocodile attacked a farm laborer who was washing his hands and feet in Dev river passing near Navinagari in Patiyapura village of Waghodia taluka. The injured was shifted to SSG hospital for treatment after the the crocodile attack.

Jagdishbhai Kalidas Vasava (46), resident of Patiyapura Navinagari was washing his hands and feet standing on the bank of the river Dev after working all day on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a crocodile appeared suddenly appeared from the water and jumped on him. The croc grabbed his right hand and tried to pull him into the water.

However, Jagadishbhai resisted the attack and freed his hand from the crocodile’s mouth. But he was injured on his chest and abdomen from the crocodile’s tail.

The injured Jagdishbhai was brought to Sayaji Hospital by his family and is presently under treatment.
