Corona positive mother gave birth to healthy baby girl in SSG

Baby tested negative both discharged after full recovery

A Corona-positive woman in Vadodara has given birth to a healthy baby girl at the Rukmini Chainani Maternity Hospital in Sayaji Hospital amid the outbreak of corona virus. Notably, the woman’s was tested for the virus after the delivery and admitted in the isolation ward after the reports came as positive. The newborn baby’s corona report came negative. The doctors shown the videos of the newborn baby to the mother which help her to become free from Corona in just a week.

Haseen Sarfaraz Khan lives with her family in Navapura declared as Corona Red Zone area of ​​the city. She was pregnant and undergoing treatment at Jamnabai Hospital. Later she was admitted to Rukmini Chainani maternity ward in SSG hospital on May 16, where doctors made every effort to ensure normal delivery. But it could not be done and the woman underwent caesarean section on May 17. She later gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

As a precaution the doctors checked her Corona’s report on May 18 and shocked to know that the mother tested positive. The woman was immediately admitted to the isolation ward. The doctors however had a sigh of relief after the newborn baby was tested negative of Corona.

As soon as the baby was born, she was separated from her mother and the doctors feed her with mother milk from the bank started in the hospital. Along with that the doctors showed the baby videos to the mother to help her immune system stays intact to fight. Much to the joy of the doctors the idea worked and she beat Corona in just seven days.

Meanwhile both mother and daughter get tested twice and both of the time the reports were negative. Both of them was discharged from the hospital with a smile on everyone’s faces. Hassen Banu and his family members thanked the doctors for their care. Expressing gratitude to the doctors, she could not hold back her tears of joy and so as the hospital staff.
