Discussion on Voter Day celebrations

Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal on Tuesday participated in various meetings organized from the state level through video conferencing. In which she joined the e-launch of “Call Gov Center and Virtual Recruitment Fair” under the schemes of the Department of Labor and Employment by the Chief Minister.

She then briefed the Chief Secretary on the situation of bird flu in the district as well as the steps taken as a precautionary measure in a video conference for the flu review.

The Chief Secretary reviewed the pre-preparations for Corona vaccination through video conference in which he provided information on the preparations and necessary planning done by the district administration.

Along with this, the Chief Secretary gave guidance and instructions regarding the planned e-flagging program of the new train to be launched between Pratapnagar and Kevadia (SOU) on 17/01/2071 by the Prime Minister as part of boosting the tourism industry.

National Voters’ Day will be celebrated across the country on January 25, 2021. Necessary guidance was given by the Chief Electoral Officer of the state through video conference in which District Collector also participated.
