Said eating in good mood help relieve the stress
“Food is a major stress buster and eating in good mood is necessary
to relieve the tension. My passion is to cook and inspire people to eat good
food,” said Chef Sanjay Thumma on his visit to Vadodara after 25 years. He
added one day he wish to serve white idlis with coconut chutney to Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. He was in the city for PU talks event at Parul
University.
Sanjay Thumma popularly known as Vah Chef is founder of extremely
popular cooking website vahrehvah.com. He became known for his online
recipe channel on YouTube which he started in 2007 and over 100 million hits.
He said the passion to cook started 30 years ago and still continues by sharing
his recepies to the people.
“The passion of cooking keeps me prepare new dishes and inspire
people to eat good food. I visited Vadodara 25 years ago and was here for brief
period. That time I get the chance to prepare Gujarati food and love farsan and
dhoklas. I future I definitely wants to cook Gujarati food,” said Thumma.
He said the hotel industry is growing up really good but the colleges
need to meet the requirements. They need much advance kind of education to
prepare the students for the industry. The industry is now open for both girls
and boys and safe for girls as the hotels take special care for them. He
encouraged more girls to join the industry.
Chef Sanjay said one can find a new recipe at every 50 kilometers in
India and that makes this country a heaven for food lovers. He suggest people
to prefer local foods to taste the authenticity but also taste the other
delicacies to silence their taste buds. He point the online food applications
make people more addicted to doing nothing and become obese as now they don’t
have to go to market to purchase vegetables or spices. Everything is available
with click of a button.
As a chef he wants to make dream recipie which is something unique and
no one even prepare it before. He said, “In my career I prepare food for
lots of leaders and celebrities but someday he wants to make white Idlis with
coconut chutney for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His dedications towards the
work at this age is beyond imagination and inspires everyone including myself
to work hard in our lives,” said Thumma.
