NSE reduces lot size for 75 SME stocks

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has reduced the lot size for 75 active stocks in the small and medium enterprise (SME) segment while keeping the lot size unchanged for 216 stocks.

The exchange conducts a half-yearly review of the lot size of current active securities on its SME platform.

Accordingly, the lot size has been revised downwards for 75 active securities including Agni Green Power, Atmastco, Basilic Fly Studio, Cellecor Gadgets, Docmode Health Tech, Digikore Studios, Fonebox Retail, Jet Knitwears, Madhusudan Masala, Mono Pharmacare, Sungarner Energies, Srivari Spices, Thaai Casting, and Viviana Power Tech.

The change in lot size will be effective from April 29, 2024.

Further, the lot size for 216 stocks, including Baweja Studios, Net Avenue Technologies, Varanium Cloud, Crop Life Science, C P S Shapers, Drone Destination, Electro Force, Global Pet Industries, Gretex Industries, IBL Finance, Master Components, Milton Industries, Pratham EPC Projects, Prolife Industries, Quicktouch Technologies, Sona Machinery, and Wise Travel India remained unchanged.

The exchange has fixed a standardized lot size for the initial public offer launching on the Emerge platform and SME stocks that trading in the secondary market.
