Ajmer | A traffic block on the Madar–Palanpur railway section in Ajmer Division has impacted 11 trains due to ongoing work to insert an RCC box on Bridge No. 638 between Rani and Khimel stations. According to North Western Railway officials, the disruption has led to the cancellation of 2 trains, diversion of 8 trains, and a delay of around 20 minutes for one train.
Several long-distance trains are now operating on alternate routes such as via Mahesana–Bhildi–Luni and Ajmer–Chittorgarh–Ratlam–Vadodara, with revised stoppages at stations including Patan, Bhildi, Jalore, and Samdari. Railway authorities stated that the block is necessary for safety and infrastructure upgrades, but it has caused inconvenience to passengers due to changes in schedules and routes. Travelers have been advised to check the latest train status before commencing their journey.
