Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited SSG Hospital and reviewed the situation in view of the current surge of Covid cases.
He said, total 305 Patients admitted out of which 109 are on ICU. We have 270 Vacant beds including 91 Vacant ICU beds. 56 Patients are on BIPAP mode and 5 on Invasive mode and 39 Ventilators are Vacant.
He further added that they have mobilised additional Resident Doctors from inhouse students of MD. 78 Nursing Sahayaks have also joined. They have also added support staff manpower.
They also have 45 Patients in ESI Hospital Gotri and 26 Patients in Infectious Diseases Hospital Karelibag against capacity of 50 in each of them.
