Excited and confident to perform in tough Australian
conditions

Yastika
Bhatia player of BCA women’s cricket team has been selected in India A women’s
team to tour Australia from 12th December to 23rd January. She is very excited
and confident to perform in the tough Australian conditions.

Yashika
Bhatia had earlier represented India A Team against Bangladesh women’s cricket
team for ODI and she scored 48runs and 33 runs respectively. She also played
T-20 wherein she scored 22 runs in 10 balls. Yashika Bhatia has also played
against Srilanka women’s team in India and now she will travel to Australia and
play for India A team.

“It’s a
great opportunity for me to play for the country in tough Australian
conditions. In the past I had played in state, national and other tour games
which gives me the confidence in my game. I will be heading to Australia with
the same confidence and try to give my best. Its also a great opportunity for
me to learn the game skills from the senior players and coaches which I can
include in my style of play,” said Yashika.

BCA has
contributed a lots in the development of women’s cricket in Baroda. The
association is represented in Indian Women’s Cricket Team by Radha Yadav and
Taranoom Pathan since last 3 years.

Yashika
Bhatia was facilitated by VP BCA Sheetal Metha and Sec BCA Ajit Lele, Jt. Sec
Parag Patel and other members before she joined the team for the Australian
tour. Yashika thanked the BCA, coaches and parents for their trust in her and
assure for a good performance in Australia.
