Baroda student Aakarshan Dwaangan won 1st prize in ‘Surshree’s Season 5

MSU Baroda student Aakarshan Dwaangan has won 1st prize in ‘Surshree’ s Season 5, a national competition held in Bhopal. He won Rs 2.5 lakh as prize money as a joint winner on first position.

He is student of third year of bachelors degree in third year of performing arts-vocal and hails from Bilaspur-Chhattisgarh. A shy by nature Aakarshan is very hard working and an excellent singer of ghazals, film music, folk and classical music.

He was among
best 11 finalists, who were chosen out of 20,000 candidates.

Among the
judges were Shri Anoop Jalota, Music director Anand Milind, Poornima
Shreshtha-playback singer, Sanjeev Sachdeva.
