Baroda Cricket Association to hold AGM online

The Apex Council of BCA has decided to hold the 79th AGM by Webinar, on 23rd of July as per the notice issued to all the members. The release said, it was important to hold this AGM to claim long pending dues from BCCI to enable BCA to speed up the work on Stadium Project.

As per the charity commissioner’s directive, BCA was allowed to take below two agenda only.

1. Passing of Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2016, 2017,2018,2019.
2. Appointment of Statutory Auditors for the financial year 2019-20.

As per the release, Some of the members had expressed their concern over the safety of members on account of the ongoing pandemic COVID-19. Keeping the health and safety concerns of the members, it has been decided to follow below mentioned procedure.

All the members shall be sent a copy of resolution and Web-link by courier, every individual member can join the AGM through the link. The AGM shall start at 9am on 23rd July 2020 followed by address of the President along with Apex council by Webinar. After the address of the president, the meeting will e adjourned for passing of two resolutions by the members.

The following five venues have been selected in various areas of Vadodara for BCA members convenience for casting their votes for the resolution.
1. Shreyas Vidhyalaya, ​Manjalpur
2. Maharani Shantadevi School, Dandiabazar
3. Sanskruti Hall ​Alembic Campus
4. BCA office
5. Sardar Vinay Vidhyalaya, Karelibaug

The Visiting hours for passing of relolution is between 10 Am to 4 Pm. Considering the COVID-19 Guidelines only 15 members with social distancing will be allowed at a time to enter the designated area.

BCA members are requested to bring their bio-metric cards or Govt ID and proof of being BCA member. The association shall make elaborate arrangements with ample staff and assistance to all the members for the smooth functioning of the AGM.
