Aravalli Terrain Vehicle Championship 2020 kick starts in Vadodara

As celebration of innovation, technology and employment
opportunities is all about Aravalli Terrain Vehicle Championship organise for
the first time in Vadodara Gujarat. The national event is organised by 

Vadodara district administration with a main objective to
encourage the technical and engineering students in the automobile field to
push their creativity and build environment friendly, fuel saving, tough and
capable vehicle.

The event has begun on Saturday at Panjarpol ground at
Sayajipura and continue for next 4 days till 19th February. It is also known as
the All Terrain Vehicle Championship, where the design of eco-friendly electric
vehicles has been encouraged specially for futuristic approach. 

A Mega Job fair has been organized during the event on
16th, 18th and 19th of February, where around 80 leading companies from the
automobile elite sector will participate giving a golden opportunity to the
participating students.

16 states, 100 teams and 2500 are participating in the
event to showcase their skills and creativity in different categories of
championship. A special track is being created at the site of the program with
pitched sidewalks and rugged, which tests the vehicles on various parameters as
decide by the organisers. On Sunday, the same track will test the toughness of
the participating teams’ vehicles and their ability to run on all kinds of
roads. 

F.G.I has organized a new kind of Indian Genius Talk in
this event on Sunday and Monday, where talented people will give guidance under
different dimensions for career development during 6 to 8 pm. 

The competition will be organized for the first time in
the country by the District Administration, with the initiative of District
Collector Shalini Agrawal along with the support from Vadodara Municipal
Corporation, V.C.CI, F.G.I, educational institutions,
corporate units. 

This is a prestigious national competition held every
year and for the first time it moves in Gujarat. It aims to accelerate future
vehicle modifications, especially in the field of vehicle manufacturing,
including the application of ideas in concept, innovation, safety, ideas, basic
standards and encouraging new approaches.

The closing ceremony of the same event will be held on
19th where prizes will be presented to the winning teams.
