Corona positive mother undergoes surgical safe delivery

In between all
the hard work by Doctors, staff nurses and other medical staff at Gotri Covid
hospital, a moment of happiness tuned the atmosphere into joy a celebration. On
Thursday a team of dedicated doctors has succeeded in getting one more Corona
positive mother to have a safe delivery through cesarean section. Both the
mother and new born are in good health.

Corona positive
and pregnant Sangeetaben was moved here from a private hospital due to
complications associated with child birth.  Regardless of her case the
team had pre-prepared for the challenges of complex delivery.

Dr. Nidhi
Pancholi and Dr. Aneri Parikh gave spinal anesthesia and performed safe
delivery through caesarean section. The mother gave birth to a healthy baby
weighing 3.38 kg and that bring smiles on everyone faces present there. This is
the first case of safe delivery through Cesarean section of a Corona positive
patient at Gotri Covid Hospital as said by spokesperson Dr Sheetal Mistry.
Earlier successful natural delivery of Corona positive patient was performed
here by the team of doctors. 

Dr. Dhara and
her anesthesia team, Dr. Rajesh and his team of paediatrics, staff nurses
Chandrikaben, Shwetaben and helper Jayamasi were very helpful in the
delivery.  this noble work of quoting a new life.  It is to be
mentioned that this is the second time in a week that a Corona positive mother
has a safe and life-saving delivery through the dedicated team of doctors.
