Manushi Chhillar gives
three points mantras to the students
“
“Parul University bowled me with a googly after conferred me Doctorate in Literature to me. I am no longer now a Engineer and I still feel Doctorate needs to be earned,” said legendary cricketer Anil Kumble in his speech at 3rd Convocation of the university. He thanked all the students and inspired them by sharing his life experience.
Starting his speech in his own style Kumble inspire the students to achieve their passions and grasp every opportunity coming in front of them. “Now all of you are going to pursue your dreams and in this moment I want all of you to grasp every opportunity and if not wait for it. Don’t let it pass and look out for the opportunity. Secondly self belief is what I learnt in my career and I urge all of you to follow it,” said Kumble.
He further added that self belief is what help him reaching the milestone of 619 wickets but it takes him to bowl 40,000 deliveries to get there. “Me and Sachin Tendulkar started our carriers almost at the same time and many felt I don’t stay for long in the team. For Sachin everyone said he broke records and for me they questioned my stay in the team. Both of us had challenges, Sachin to prove them right and me to prove them wrong. It is my self belief that I was successful in my career and proved everyone wrong. Consider failure as the stepping stone for success and always believe in yourself,” said Kumble.
He also make the students to thank the social media which helps them to stay in touch with the friends after the college and relieved the golden moments even after 20 years from today.
