Anganwadi workers distributing take home ration kits to beneficiaries

Through the implementation of the National Food Security Act, the state government provides Take Home Ration Kit to children of 3 to 6 years, adolescents, pregnant women and girls, enrolled in Anganwadi through Integrated Child Development Scheme. It aims to maintain their health through supplemental nutrition.

Anganwadis
are currently closed due to the risk of Coronavirus infection and of lock down.
In order to maintain the nutritional balance of the above mentioned
beneficiaries, Anganwadi workers have begun distributing child power, maternal
power and full strength take-home ration kits to the re enrolled beneficiaries.
They are also carefully maintain the necessary distance to prevent any
infection and distribute the kits.

In addition,
they are also helping the shopkeepers to comply with the discipline required
and following the rules of keeping distance during the distribution of ration.
