Plan grand celebration in coming months

Nearly 7000 students from more than 40 schools of Vadodara joined the save water campaign in the first phase of launching. The campaign ‘Amrut Kalash Mahotsav’ was started with a noble cause and day by day spreading to different walks of life.

On Monday the committee launches its website to reach people more effectively and also mark their presence in all social media platforms. Since it’s launching the campaign spread to the schools and nearly 7000 students from various schools joined the initiative. Various seminars and programmes were organised inside the schools to spread the awareness in students more effectively.

Secondly the committee also planned to bring permanent change in the water retention system by installing Percolation Wells. In the duration November, 2018 to February, 2019, they plan to install 50 wells in various areas of the city and plan to install other 50 such wells in the city on places identified by the VMC.

On 15th October the committee launched their website and mark their presence at all social media platforms to reach people more effectively with their initiative of save water campaign. In November water from 9 main rivers will be brought here as part of the campaign and use to reborn all the rivers of Gujarat. Various other programmes like Aquathon, Ganga Lehri a music concert by Shankar Mahadevan followed by a national convention on save water is lined up for this year as part of the mahotsav. The members of Gujarati film Reva also extend their support for the mahotsav.

The campaign was started under the guidance of Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri and is an initiative by Kalyanrayji Sarvajanik Charitable Trust and Gramin Vikas Trust.
