Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth (Spicmacay) celebrate International Day of Yoga through various yoga and meditation sessions. The aim is to spread the positivity in people during the lockdown.

From 17 to 21 June 2020, they organised online five day Yoga and meditation sessions by experts to release the mental stress caused by the lockdown. The Hatha Yoga session was conducted by Sanyasi Devanand from Bihar School of Yoga, Naad Yoga by Dhrupad exponent Wasifuddin Dagar and meditation session done by B.K. Shrinidhi from Brahmakumaris ashram. All three are very important for a healthy body.

Thereafter Spicmacay is going to celebrate the “Tradition Festival” from June 20 to 28 through YouTube. In this festival, the current young artists of classical art will pass on our tradition to the younger generation and inspire them to preserve our invaluable heritage. Thus, fans will be able to enjoy our incredible heritage at home.
