Google gets noticed for listing PM Modi in top criminals

Allahabad court issued notices to global search engine company Google, its CEO and India head for listing Prime Minister Narendra Modi among top 10 criminals in the world on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s images started appearing in image search results for “Top 10 criminals in world” on Google last year. Google said the image search results were drawn from multiple news articles with images of Modi and his statements with regard to politicians with criminal background. Google search also listed Modi among the ‘Most Stupid Prime Ministers Of The World’

The court was hearing a complaint filed by advocate Sushil Kumar Mishra. The next hearing on the case will be on 31^st August.
