Gujarat chief minister (CM) Anandiben Patel launched state-wide drive of 'Ujala Gujarat', an initiative of the Central government to distribute LED bulbs to electricity consumers across the state at affordable cost.
Anandiben while speaking in the event said ,” In Guj, we aim to disburse 12 cr LED bulbs under Ujala which’ll save 650 crore units of electricity & give Rs 2500 crore relief to consumers”
She also urged people to apply for Ujala scheme to not only make their houses energy efficient but also contribute in saving energy resources.
