Top police officials health teams visited all eight villages
Eight villages in Karjan are declared core area and sealed by Vadodara District Collector after four positive cases comes to light from Ikhar village in Bharuch. The decision is taken as a preventive measure to spread the infection as the borders of the villages are touching Bharuch. A notification is also released under Disaster Management Act. She directed the district police and the Karjan taluka administration to strictly adhere all the rules, including controlling access to the villages in the above buffer zones.

Following the instructions of District Collector Shalini Agrawal the police and the administrative system put a checklist and closed all the roads between all 8 villages of Karjan taluka and Bharuch. The teams are strictly implementing the orders and note the details of every vehicle and person passing from there.

Following the instructions of the District Collector, SP Sudhir Kumar Desai, Mamlatdar of Karjan, police and administrative system officials formed various teams and visited Valan, Sansrod, Mankan, Mesraad, Dhamnaj, Mangrol, Dethan and Sampa villages. They aware the villagers about the notification and request them to follow it strictly.

Meanwhile, for the second time intensive health surveys have been conducted by 57 medical teams led by six doctors in the 8 villages having population of over 29 thousand. On Saturday health survey of 18771 people has been completed during which no case has been found of Corona Positives. The teams also spread awareness in people about washing hands with soap and maintain good health hygiene.
