All facilities for covid treatment will be functioning in Sayaji Hospital during Diwali festivities

The impact of the Corona pandemic in Vadodara has decreasing but not completely eradicated. As per experts Winter cold can increase the impact of this disease. Diwali is just round the corner and extra care will be taken during this time. As part of the same all services including sonography, blood report and ICU will be uninterrupted in the covid treatment department of Sayaji Hospital during the Diwali festivities.

Giving information, the administrative nodal officer of this department, Dr. O.B. Belim said, the leave and vacation of doctors has been cancelled by the state government in view of the need of the current situation. Physicians have also endorsed this decision and have shown devotion to duty. Other staff are also on duty during the festivals. So Covid treatment services will continue as before during festivities giving Twenty-four hour services to the patients.

In addition, with the auspicious intention that the admitted patients will be able to enjoy the festival, the Deep Utsav will be celebrated by keeping the doctors and staff together in Covid Ward, added Belim.
