All 35 samples collected in Vadodara district tested negative

Rapid Antibody test kit used to collect samples All 35 samples collected through rapid antibody and routine kits in rural areas of Vadodara district comes negative after testing. The new kit was used by the health teams in Karjan, Shinor, Simli and Sadhi areas on Thursday where a total 23 samples were collected and all comes as negative.

In addition 12 samples were collected from Methi in Karjan and Chokari in Padra through routine process. Chief district health officer Dr. Uday Tilawat informed that the 35 total samples are of Corona positive patients and contacts which comes as negative.

It is to be mentioned that on the instructions of District Collector Shalini Agrawal, a pre training was also organised for medical officers and lab technicians as a precautionary measure before the arrival of new kits. 49 medical officers and 24 lab tech from district and 39 medical officers, 24 lab techs from VMC attended the pre training before the use of new kits.
