Air Marshal SK Ghotia visited Air Force Station Jamnagar

Air Marshal SK Ghotia, PVSM AVSM ADC, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command (SWAC) and Nirmala Ghotia, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) visited Air Force Station Jamnagar.

He was received by Air Commodore MS Deswal, Vayu Sena Medal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jamnagar and Jyoti Deswal, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local).

The AOC-in-C was presented with a Guard of Honour on his arrival. The Air Marshal was briefed about the current operational readiness, prevailing security scenario and the preparedness of the Station. He inspected various operational installations of the station and appreciated the crucial role that the station plays in safeguarding the western borders of the nation. He also appreciated the innovations done by the air warriors of the station.

During the visit, the Air Marshal interacted with Air Warriors and exhorted them to be ready for undertaking all eventualities. He also underlined the need for a dynamic approach towards achievement of all organizational goals. He urged all personnel to take precautions on prevailing COVID situation and adhere to Aerospace Safety, road safety and cyber security norms at all times.
