Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM addressed SWAC Commanders conference

Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC, Chief of the Air Staff, Indian Air Force, addressed the Commanders of South Western Air Command (SWAC) on 29 April 2021 via Video Tele Conferencing.

In his address to the commanders of SWAC Air Force bases, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria apprised them on the current security scenario, geo political situation and the role of IAF to deal with various contingencies and threats. He also stressed on the need for Commanders to keep themselves updated on modern developments and emerging technologies so that operational capabilities in the command’s area of responsibility are optimized.

He present various trophies to the Commanders for achieving excellence in the fields of operations, maintenance and administration were announced on the occasion. Air Force Station Jodhpur was awarded the trophy for the best Station (Operations) and Air Force Station Jamnagar was adjudged as best station (Maintenance) and Air Force Station Naliya was declared as the best station (Administration).

Expressing his satisfaction on the operational capabilities of all the stations, Air Marshal Surendra Kumar Ghotia PVSM VSM ADC, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command impressed on the commanders to continue their good work with a pro-active approach so as to maintain the operational preparedness of the SWAC at an optimal level always.
