Southern Railway to operate more trains for guest workers

From April 30, 2021, Western Railway has reduced the number of coaches in train number 09247/09248 Ahmedabad-Kevadia-Ahmedabad Janshatabdi Special and 09249/09250 Ahmedabad-Kevadia-Ahmedabad Janshatabdi Special due to lack of passengers.

From April 30, the trains will have a total of 06 coaches, including an AC chair car, a Vistadom, an executive chair car, a second seating coach, a power car and luggage van. Earlier this train was operated with 16 coaches.
