The much-awaited trailer of Bohurupi – The Golden Daku is out, offering a thrilling mix of crime, action, suspense and emotion.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee plays Bikram Pramanik, the notorious ‘Golden Daku’, while Jisshu U Sengupta takes on the role of a determined police officer chasing him. The trailer features a daring prison escape, a gold heist and an intense cat-and-mouse battle between the two.

Bengal’s Folk Culture Takes Centre Stage

The film also celebrates Bengal’s rich folk heritage. Along with the traditional Bohurupi folk art, the makers have introduced Gambhira folk artists from Malda, whose songs, masks and performances add an authentic cultural touch.

Shiboprosad described Bikram as one of the most unpredictable characters he has played, while Jisshu highlighted the intense rivalry between their characters.

The film is especially significant for Windows Production, which is celebrating 25 years in cinema. Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the movie stars Jisshu U Sengupta, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Koushani Mukherjee, Sohini Sarkar and Prodeep Bhattacharya.
