828 samples comes negative out of 978 in Vadodara

90 positive patients under treatment at Gotri

828 samples comes as negative out of 978 collected in Vadodara city and district. In view of the Corona scare mass samples are collected by the teams for testing in which 99 cases are positive and 90 are presently under treatment in the Gotri hospital under standard protocol.

Under the instructions of District Collector Shalini Agrawal district health administration is also taking preventive steps in view of Coronavirus. Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat informed that 828 samples are negative and since yesterday four positive cases comes to light which takes the total number of patients to 99 in the city.

Till date 210 in SSG, 714 in Gotri and 54 samples in private hospitals are collected by the teams. After testing 99 positive cases comes to light consists of 7 from SSG, 90 from Gotri and two from private hospital. Similarly 192 cases in SSG, 584 in Gotri and 52 in private hospitals comes as negative of Coronavirus and six samples (2 SSG and 4 Gotri) was rejected. Presently 45 samples (9 SSG and 36 Gotri) are under checking in the laboratory.

As far as patients are concerned 90 patients, 88 in Gotri and two in private hospitals are under treatment as per standard protocol. Till date seven patients were discharged after fully recovered from the virus. Two of the patients died during treatment.

Treatment of patients started from SSG hospital and now every positive patient is admitted in Gotri hospital which is raised as a dedicated Coronavirus hospital by the government. The samples collected by the teams are checked in laboratory raised inside the SSG for quick results.

Home quarantine and medical examination of 757 people visited foreign countries are completed. The list of these visitors was shared by the state government with the local administration to identify them quickly and put them under quarantine.
