Project carried out under first phase of Integrated Transport Management System

Under first phase of Integrated Transport Management System Project, Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan has equipped 75 city buses with CCTV Camera, GPS and other facilities. The buses were launched by mayor Jigishaben Sheth.

Mayor said, ITMS project will provide real time bus information to the citizens of Vadodara city. The bus will arrive at the bus stop on time and the cctv cameras installed inside will ensure safety and security of passengers during traveling. Over speed of the city bus will be controlled and the route will not be diverted. The stoppage information will also be there and the system will help in decrease the irregularity of the bus.

Along with this, the details of bus stop, time of reaching at designated stop, route and details of route planning from one place to another will be available through mobile app and website of Vadodara Municipal Corporation.

She further said that in Phase-II, digital display, route details, camera and other details will be made available at about 100 main bus stops in Vadodara city. The remaining 75 buses will also be provided with state-of-the-art technology.
