Pool of doctors prepared to use in time of need

7 new doctors and 5 staff nurses have been recruited for the special treatment facility of Corona at Gotri hospital in Vadodara. A pool of 81 doctors and paramedics are also prepared to use in time of need.

District collector Shalini Agrawal informed that GMERS hospital is equipped with 250 beds facility to treat Coronavirus patients aa per state government guidelines.

According to the state government guidelines at ERS Gotri, a special facility for the treatment of 250 bed coroners has been made. 7 new doctors and 5 staff nurses have been recruited for the special treatment facility of Corona at the hospital. 26 ventilators are also installed with the help of private hospitals.

She further said that deployment of 19 doctors from various departments along with resident doctors and assistant professors from Sayaji Hospital are deputed in the hospital. to provide necessary human resources. These pre-preparations have been made in advance to ensure ease of need. A pool of around 81 doctors and para medics are also prepared as pre preparations in time of need.

The Collector interacted with IMA member doctors, private practitioners and also the private doctors of the city through video conference to deal with the situation arising in the context of Coronavirus and appeal them to provide medical specialists, physicians, medical and nursing staff along with ventilators to the district administration to deal with the situation. She asked them to prepare a list of ventilators and other necessary equipment as well as staff of various cadres so that their services could be taken at the time of need.
