Ministry of Railways have announced to run 40 additional pairs of special trains for the  convenience of passengers from 12th September, 2020. Out of these 40 pairs, total 6  pairs of special trains will be operated over Western Rly. These trains will be made operational from 12th Sept, 2020 onwards as per their nominated days, till further notice.

According to a press release issued by WR CPRO Sumit Thakur, from the 6 pairs of special trains which are being made operational, 4 pairs of trains will originate or terminate from/at Western Railway’s stations, whereas, 2 of the trains will be passing and having halts at WR’s stations. The trains originating/ terminating from WR, are Valsad-Muzaffarpur, Indore – Howrah, Indore-New Delhi and Ahmedabad – Bhubaneshwar. The trains passing with halts at WR stations are Yesvantpur-Bikaner Express via Palanpur- Vasai Road and Jaipur-Mysuru Express via Nagda- Bhopal over Western Rly.  The trains will run as fully reserved trains.

Details of the trains are :-

● Train No 09051/ 09052 Valsad – Muzaffarpur Weekly Special

Train No 09051 Valsad – Muzaffarpur Special will leave from Valsad at 20.15 hrs on every Saturday from 12th Sept, 2020 onwards and will reach Muzaffarpur at 07.15 hrs on the third day. Similarly, in the return direction Train No 09052 Muzaffarpur- Valsad will depart from Muzaffarpur on every Monday at 19.30 hrs from 14th Sept, 2020 onwards and will reach Valsad at 05.05 hrs on the third day.

Enroute the train will halt at Udhna Jn, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval Jn., Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Cheoki, Varanasi, Ballia, Chhapra, Sonpur and Hajipur Jn in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

● Train No 02911/ 02912 Indore – Howrah Superfast Tri- Weekly Special

Train No 02911 Indore – Howrah Tri-weekly Special will leave from Indore at 23.30 hrs on every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday with effect from 12th September, 2020 onwards and will reach Howrah at 06.50 hrs on the third day. Similarly, Train No 02912 Howrah – Indore will leave from Howrah at 17.45 hrs on every Monday, Thursday & Saturday with effect from 14th September, 2020 onwards & will reach Indore at 01.35 hrs on the third day.

Enroute the train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain Jn., Shujalpur, Bhopal, Vidisha, Ganj Basoda, Bina Jn., Khurai, Saugor, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Dabhaura, Shankargarh, Vindhyachal, Mirzapur, Chunar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Bhabua Rd, Sasaram, Anugraha N Rd, Gaya Jn, Koderma, Parasnath, Gomoh Jn, Dhanbad Jn, Asansol Main, Durgapur and Bardhaman stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

Train No 02415/ 02416 Indore – New Delhi Superfast Special

Train No 02415 Indore – New Delhi Special will leave from Indore at 16.35 hrs every day with effect from 13th September, 2020 onwards & will reach at New Delhi at 06.10 hrs, the next day. Similarly, Train No 02416 New Delhi – Indore will leave from New Delhi at 22.00 hrs every day with effect from 12th September, 2020 onwards & will reach Indore at 11.40 hrs the next day.

Enroute the train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain Jn., Nagda Jn, Vikramgarh Alot, Chau Mahla, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana Jn, Bharatpur, Mathura Jn and H. Nizamuddin stations in both directions. Train No 02415 will have an additional halt at Faridabad station. This train comprises of 1st AC, AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

● Train No 08406/ 08405 Ahmedabad – Bhubaneshwar Weekly Special

Train No 08406 Ahmedabad – Bhubaneswar Weekly Special will leave from Ahmedabad at 18.40 hrs every Friday with effect from 18th September, 2020 onwards & will reach at Bhubaneshwar at 06.25 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, Train No 08405 Bhubaneshwar – Ahmedabad Special train will leave from Bhubaneshwar at 19.40 hrs on every Wednesday with effect from 16th September, 2020 onwards & will reach Ahmedabad at 07.25 hrs on Friday.

Enroute the train will halt at Anand, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola Jn, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Mahasamud, Khariar Rd, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Rd, Sambalpur, Angul, Talcher and Dhenkanal stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

● Train No 06587/ 06588 Yesvantpur – Bikaner Bi – Weekly Express

Train No 06587 Yesvantpur – Bikaner Bi – Weekly Special will leave Yesvantpur at 05.00 hrs on every Sunday & Friday with effect from 13th September, 2020 onwards & will reach at Bikaner at 06.50 hrs on the third day. Similarly, Train No 06588 Bikaner – Yesvantpur will leave from Bikaner at 22.15 hrs on every Tuesday & Sunday with effect from 15th September, 2020 onwards & will reach Yesvantpur at 03.15 hrs on the fourth day.

Enroute the train will halt at Tumkur, Arsikere Jn, Davangere, Ranibennur, Hubballi Jn, Gadag Jn, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Solapur Jn, Pune, Kalyan Jn, Vasai Rd, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Jn, Ahmedabad Jn,  Palanpur Jn, Abu Rd, Falna, Rani, Marwar Jn, Pali Marwar, Jodhpur Jn, Merta Jn, Nagaur and Nokha stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

● Train No 02976/ 02975 Jaipur – Mysuru Bi-Weekly Superfast Special

Train No 02976 Jaipur – Mysuru Bi – Weekly Special will leave from Jaipur at 19.35 hrs on every Monday & Wednesday with effect from 14th September, 2020 onwards & will reach Mysuru at 15.30 hrs on the third day. Similarly, Train No 02975 Mysuru – Jaipur will leave from Mysuru at 10.40 hrs every Thursday & Saturday with effect from 17th September, 2020 & will reach Jaipur at 06.15 hrs on the third day.

Enroute the train will halt at Durgapura, Sawai Madhopur, Kota Jn, Bhawani Mandi, Nagda, Ujjain Jn., Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal, Habibganj, Hoshangabad, Itarsi Jn, Betul, Pandhurna, Nagpur, Sevagram, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kagazngr, Belampalli, Mancheral, Kazipet Jn, Kacheguda, Mahbubnagar, Guntakal Jn, Anantapur, Hindupur, Bangalore Cant, K S R Bengaluru and Mandya  stations in both directions. An additional halt will be provided to Train No 02975 at Gadwal station. This train comprises of Ist AC, AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second class seating coaches.

The booking of Train No 09051, 02911, 02415 & 08406 will open from 10th September, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website.
