Presently under treatment in isolation ward of SSG hospital

Vadodara witness third case of Corona positive after the report of 52 year old person comes as positive. He was returned from Srilanka and is presently under observation in isolation ward of SSG hospital.

Giving details SSG hospital RMO Dr. B.R. Shah said, the 52 year old resident of Nizampura area returned from Srilanka and came for testing on 19th March. He was admitted in the isolation ward after the Corona symptoms and samples were sent for laboratory testing. His reports comes as positive and it take the total number of patients to three in Vadodara.

The administration is alert after the report of 52 year old comes as positive and screening the persons came in his contact. They are adviced to be at home. Earlier on Friday a 49 year old male returned from Spain and 62 year old lady returned from Srilanka tested positive and and all are under treatment in the specially formed isolation ward.

As a precautionary step Act 144 is in place in the city putting a ban on any type of functions, meetings, rallies and others. Strict action will be taken of any violation. Malls, multiplexes, gyms, cinema halls, clubs, theatres, dance classes, tution classes, sports complexes are closed as preventive measures and police commissioner is also implementing the laws in the city jurisdiction.

Jan Seva kendras are closed in view of the gathering of people and people are requested to use online services as option. People came in contact with the Corona positive patient is shifted to Isolation and as preventive measures the rail and bus services operating from Maharashtra is stopped and advisory is issued to ST department to take precautionary measures.

COVID 19 is included in epidemic act and the collector request people to stay away from any rumors and issues warning of strict action against the elements spread wrong message in social media and other mediums.

District Collector Shalini Agrawal request people to contact doctor in case of fever, cough and cold. Hotels, sweet and farsan shops are instructed to strictly follow the health advisory. She appeal people to stay at home specially kids and senior citizens above 60 years.
